Our Story

Built on 15 Years of
Field Experience

Safety Hub Consultants Ltd was incorporated on 3rd December 2017 under the Companies Act, 2015. The company was founded by Roselyne Bonareri Makori — a NEMA Registered Expert (Reg. No. 2141) and Approved Government Safety Advisor (OSH/ADV 236) with over 15 years of hands-on EHS practice across Kenya.

Before founding Safety Hub, Roselyne led EHS departments at firms including Suraya Property Group, Parbat Siyani Construction, Millenium Management Consultants, and Baran Telecom Networks — accumulating over 100 Environmental Impact Assessments, 50+ environmental audits, and more than 10 Strategic Environmental Assessments across diverse sectors. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Occupational Health and Safety at Kenyatta University (ongoing).

Today, Safety Hub operates as a multi-disciplinary consultancy offering the full compliance lifecycle — from initial EIA through to permit processing, OSH audits, and ongoing sustainability advisory — serving clients across Kenya, with capacity for broader East African and international engagements.

2008

Foundations in EHS

Roselyne begins her EHS career at Kenface Enconsults (Africa) Ltd — conducting EIAs and audits for Airtel Kenya, manufacturing companies, horticultural farms, and water projects.

2012

Leading Major Projects

Appointed Head of EHS at Millenium Management Consultants Ltd. Led statutory audits for Central Bank of Kenya across 7 regions, spearheaded ISO 14001/45001/9001 implementation for Kenya Pipeline Ltd, and coordinated safety training for 1,000+ workers at East Africa Portland Cement.

2015

Property & Construction Sector

Joined Suraya Property Group Ltd as EHS Coordinator — developing and implementing EHS policies across major residential and commercial developments in Nairobi.

2017

Safety Hub Consultants Ltd Founded

Safety Hub Consultants Ltd incorporated on 3rd December 2017 under the Companies Act, 2015. Begins independent consultancy operations with NEMA registration and government safety advisor credentials in place.

2021

Telecoms & ISO Certification

As HSE Manager at Baran Telecom Networks Ltd, led the company from 20% to 90% ESH statutory compliance, achieved ISO 14001/45001/9001 certification, and completed NOSA vetting — a client requirement from Safaricom Ltd.

2023

International Expansion

Conducted a baseline Health, Safety and Security assessment for A.P. Moller Maersk warehouses and depots across six sites in Senegal — Safety Hub's first major international assignment. Also engaged as Health & Safety consultant for the US Embassy residential renovation in Runda.

2024

NEBOSH International Diploma

Roselyne attains the NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (IDip 2023) — one of the most advanced OHS qualifications globally. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Occupational Health and Safety at Kenyatta University. Safety Hub continues to grow its portfolio across construction, manufacturing, and education sectors.
